A Little Bit of Background

and some full-length Spot Samples:

In the fall of 1990, Larry Burkett, the president of Christian Financial Concepts (CFC), said he wanted to launch a series of one-minute radio features that would teach Biblical principles of money management.

CFC was already producing a daily short feature and a daily call-in program -- both of which were syndicated nationally.  I was handed the task of developing the new series, which included writing, voicing and production on my part.  Thus was born, "A Money Minute."

We've produced over 400 spots so far!  Below are some samples.  CFC merged with Crown Ministries in 2001.  Some of these spots have the original Christian Financial Concepts tags.  Others have the newer Crown Financial Ministries tags.

Note that on spots featuring more than one male character, my parts are listed in parentheses.

ATTENTION:  For clearance to run the spots on your local radio station, please contact Regina Reid at Crown Financial Ministries at 770-534-1000 ext. 208, or e-mail rreid@crown.org

For best results, you may prefer to download these to your hard drive rather than playing them off the server.  Each file is approximately 433K in size.
